Turkish Superheavy Gala Gölü Found Adrift in Hatra System; Crew of 200 Missing

The Gala Gölü, a Turkish superheavy cargo ship, has been discovered adrift in the Hatra System nine months after it was reported missing. Local freelancers boarded the vessel but found no trace of its roughly 200-person crew.

No signs of boarding were reported, and the ship’s evacuation systems and distress beacons appear never to have been activated. Its cargo was left untouched, ruling out many of the more likely explanations, including piracy or malfunction.
