Thousands of Soviet Tanks, AFVs, Hundreds of Warships Headed to Reinforce Vega

A COMINTERN convoy of roughly 600 ships carrying advanced military hardware may have already entered the Local Supercluster, the latest in a series of deployments aimed at strengthening the Soviet military presence in Vega.

Among the materiel expected on board are fleets of T-680A medium tanks, BMP-14 infantry fighting vehicles, 2K34 self propelled anti-aircraft systems, BM-131 launch vehicles, and BM-142 surface to orbit artillery. Other items include small arms, artillery rounds, drones and ATGMs.

Our Analysis: The Soviet Union’s ability to reinforce the Local Supercluster during a war against either OTO or the Axis has long been in doubt. Vega is a powerfully positioned forward base, but remains isolated from other COMINTERN territories.

In this hypothetical conflict, Soviet forces are expected to face a prolonged siege on Vega until blockades of key transit corridors can be forced open. If the Soviet Fleet fails to break out into the Local Supercluster, Vega can be easily cut off.
