Suspected U.S. “Black Fleet” Vessel Tracked Entering Restricted Meadowlark System

Conspiracy circles are abuzz after a starship suspected to be part of the U.S. government’s classified “Black Fleet” was briefly tracked on private deep-space surveillance radar entering the restricted Meadowlark System. New Philadelphia, as a matter of policy, offered no comment

Our Analysis: Meadowlark has long been linked to classified government research programs, but the existence of a covert American fleet, believed to consist of 8 to 12 cruise-liner-sized vessels, was only revealed through a Freedom of Information request in 2272.

Translight events remain the only way these classified vessels can be tracked. A network of enthusiasts predicted the jump after noting temporary flight restrictions, rerouted commercial traffic, and unusual ATC chatter across several American star systems in recent weeks.

The purpose of these vessels is a matter of heavy speculation tainted by popular culture. They reportedly make regular trips to the Far Frontier however, and may be third-generation designs, the latest in a program first established during the Second Scinfaxi War.
