Shells Hit Fontclair International Starport

Fascist shells, rockets and drones have heavily damaged a section of the Fontclair International Starport, currently being used as a forward operating base by the Acadian Armed Forces. Authorities have confirmed there was no threat to the integrity of the complex’s spacelift.

The attack, lasting roughly ninety minutes, left dozens of aerospace craft and starships in flames, and there is an ongoing chemical alert over the three northern cities of the megalopolis; Belcarre, Lachenay, and Nouvallon. Horizon-spanning sheets of black smoke, the consequence of burning fuel dumps and ruptured reactor housings, have rendered entire neighborhoods unbreathable. While military personnel will be largely immune, there is intense concern for the remaining segments of the civilian population that have refused to evacuate.
