Flying Tigers Will Deploy To Elysian Fields

The Flying Tigers mercenary organization say they will deploy “major assets and capabilities” to the Elysian Fields to directly engage Axis Powers forces. German Reich, Italy, Spain, and Hungary officials condemn the move as an “unacceptable escalation.”

The organization has not confirmed which ships or wings may deploy, but a reported sighting of the George T. Burgard, a carrier operated by the Flying Tigers, transiting the Draconis Subcluster has drawn renewed attention.

Our Analysis: The Flying Tigers are widely regarded as some of the best fighter aces in the Orion Arm, even when operating older export-grade aerospace craft. Their kill records during the Acadian Wars and the Fall of the Arab Federation remain unmatched. 

Though officially an independent mercenary group, it is an open secret that the Flying Tigers are heavily funded by the United States Armed Forces with active-duty and reserve pilots suspected to be clandestinely rotating through the group under contractual cover.
