Brazilian Troops Hit Infamous “Pirate Moon”

Brazil’s government has confirmed that elements of its armed forces have begun a sweep of Bermejo, an infamous pirate moon in the Gran Chaco system. It’s a known criminal base of the Amigos do Cosmos, Órbita Fantasma, Bandidos da Lua & Bonde do Cosmos organizations.

The immense civilian traffic that passes through the Gran Chaco system has enabled several types of violent non-state actors to hide among them. Numerous acts of piracy have occurred here, especially around the gas giant Huiracocha, rich in Helium-3, which Bermejo orbits.
