Apollo To Host New Airbases As OTO Strengthens Strategic “ADAS Line”
Kithara Megalopolis — In what is being described as the largest engineering project for the Apollo Army since the 2270s, a vast construction site in the highlands outside the nation’s capital could soon host wings of advanced OTO aerospace fighters, likely within the year.
A relic from the Second Solar War, Joint Base Bamber-Hatch is just one among dozens of facilities in the strategic ‘ADAS Line’ now undergoing extensive modernization and expansion, part of a wider effort to sustain a wartime surge of OTO forces into the region.
Our Analysis: The Apollo, Dea Dia, Artemis, Silvanus Line, (ADAS) refers to a group of four heavily settled star systems in the Apollo Subcluster that form an interstellar chokepoint into the Local Cluster. OTO regards control of the line as strategically vital.
Uncontested control allows OTO, in the event of war, to maintain vast supply convoys to more distant allies nearer to Soviet or Sphere space, while serving as a bulwark against retaliatory incursions into the Local Cluster.
Both the Republic of Artemis and the Apollo Federation have been full OTO members since the Second Solar War, though instability and tensions between other nations in the ADAS Line, as well as those in the neighboring Juno Reach, have threatened OTO primacy.
We’re interested in hearing from anyone with knowledge or experience in the ADAS Line or the Reach. Whether from a local perspective or practical experience, your thoughts and observations are welcome.
